Rutledge Private Clinic and Asylum: Home of Wayward & Lost Souls is a mental hospital located in the West District of Town. Despite it being in town, the hospital seems to be stuck in the ways of old Victorian treatment (and mistreatment) of patients from the lack of regulation in the area.
History[]
Rutledge Asylum was founded by Hieronymus Q. Bosch in London, 1812. Due to the overwhelming amounts of people dubbed 'insane' it was one of many new asylums being constructed to solve the problem. Starting out simply, following regulations and proper human ethics, the place was often considered one of the best mental asylums in the country at the time.
However, in 1862, 50 years after its founding, it simply... disappeared mysteriously. Without a trace, it simply 'left'. Of course, it wasn't that simple, though. It had been subject to a rift swallowing it up, and spitting it out in Town, in the Western District.
After the initial panic and confusion, the residents and workers slowly adapted, eventually re-opening service in Town for those who needed it.
